I had never soldered before, but some potential LED projects made me want to learn. It is fun when the solder catches, melts, gets shiny, and sticks. Tricky to learn the right way to heat it up. I think I started to get the hang of it as I went on. The meticulous work scatches the same part of my brain that knitting does.
